Angle properties
Architecture is again an excellent example of why it is important for us to understand geometrical properties. The angles which the iron bars make with each other are accurately calculated to allow this immense structure to overwhelm us with its beauty for already 125 years! Do you know which building this picture shows a part of? On your IGCSE GCSE Maths exam you will have to find and calculate angles in all sorts of situations. Angles on lines, in various polygons, angles in circles and exterior angles of polygons. You can also be asked the sum of the interior angles of a dodecagon for instance or perhaps you will have to explain using words why an angle has a particular size. Study the following maths example questions therefore carefully during your maths revision and learn everything you need to know about angles.
