What are Vectors
Vectors are quantities that also have a direction. Like the way a ship or a plane travels for instance. The man studying the radar screen is looking at dots (the other vessels). These dots are connected by an arrow pointing in the direction the vessel is travelling. The higher the speed of the other ship, the longer the arrow. By interpreting the vectors he is able to decide upon his own navigation. Check the links and learn in which other ways Vectors play an important role in our lives. Below you see all the maths topics in which I explain to you what Vector are. When you study all the chapters you will understand what Vectors are an how you can use them to answer all sorts of questions. So start with Vectors and Translations (click the link below) and then continue with how to add and subtract vectors etc. When you study all these Vector topics you will pass your next maths exam. Good luck and have fun!
