How to convert Percentages, Fractions and Decimals
How many years are there in one century? Ho many cents in a dollar? How do you say 100 in French? What do you notice looking at the word percentage? For your maths revision you have probably already studied fractions and decimals. Like fractions and decimals, percentages describe a part of the whole. But not just out of any whole. A percentage always looks at how much out of a hundred the part is. For your IGCSE GCSE maths exam papers you need to be able to convert fractions to decimals and percentages and the other way around. In the following maths videos I will explain to you step by step how to do this successfully. Make sure to examine all example maths questions and activities before moving on the other videos I have made about percentages. It is important that you are comfortable converting percentages, decimals and fractions.
