How to Convert units involving Area and Volume
In the previous section we found out that 5 m is the same as 500 cm (5 x 100). Do we have to do the same when converting units dealing with an area or volume? Is 5 m2 the same as 500 cm2? Make sure to check the following videos which will show you why that would be wrong! The videos will show you an useful way to convert these units. You will not have to remember anything for, as you know, maths is not about remembering but about understanding! So continue with your maths revision and study all the example questions below.
