What is a Reflection
The first type of transformation we will discuss is a reflection. Examples of reflections you encounter a lot in your every day life. When you were looking in the mirror this morning for example or when I visited the Hala Tekke Mosque as you can see on the picture. Try to look around you today and discover more examples of reflections!
As you have learned a transformation changes the size or position or both of an object. Do you know what will happen with a reflection? Will the size of the object change, the position or both? You will learn everything you need to know about reflections after looking the following mths activities. You will understand what a mirror line or line of reflection is and how to approach these types of questions in order to pass your maths exam. Good luck!
