Solving Complete Past Maths Exams Extended: Paper 2
Although you should not limit yourself by only practising past papers as preparation for your own exam, it is a very good way to discover for yourself what your strengths and weaknesses are. When you have finished and checked a past paper during your maths revision, you should revise those topics which troubled you during the exam. In order for you to check your answers and find out whether you are right or wrong, I have created some videos in which I solve entire past maths exams. I hope this will prove to be a useful activity for you and that it will help you to understand maths better, enjoy maths more and eventually help you to pass your maths exam. Paper 21 May/June 2015This exam starts with a question about directed numbers and finishes with a question about functions (evaluating functions, composite functions and inverse functions). Most of the other maths topics pass by during the questions in between. I will solve questions about vectors and matrices for you, I will explain what prime numbers and standard form are. I will show you how to factorise and simplify algebraic fractions. You will learn about inverse proportion and compound interest and much much more.
