1. Mean, Mode, Median and Range
We have several methods to say something about the average of a set of data; the mean, mode and median. If I decide upon the report grade of one of my students, which method would I choose to decide upon the students' average grade? In this section I will explain the different ways to say something about the average of a set of data. By looking at example question you will learn what the mean, mode and median is and when to use which method. You will also understand how to calculate the mean when given a grouped frequency table. Finally you will understand what is meant with the range. So study all maths resources well during your maths revision and pass your next maths exam!
