What is Rotation
On your GCSE IGCSE Maths exam paper you will get questions about Transformations. We need to know 4 types of transformations: Reflections, Translations, Rotations and Enlargements. This part will show you step by step all you need to know about rotations.
What do you need to take into consideration and what are commonly made mistakes? Remember to contact me if you still don't understand Rotations. You can leave a message on the Forum (Homepage) or send me a message on Facebook or Twitter. I will help you with your maths by making more maths videos and activities for you. Good luck and have fun!
FREE Worksheet and example questions Rotations
I am still in the process of creating a suitable worksheet for you so you can practise your understanding of Rotations. As soon as I have finished it I will upload it for you over here. Are you in a hurry and need to worksheet ASAP? Let me know on the forum or on my Facebook / Twitter page and I will make sure to finish it quickly. In the mean time check out all the other resources I have on this site for you. Please like the resources and share them with your friends if they were helpful. Thank you!
You have learned many important aspects of transformations already. We have spoken about what reflections are and that we call the line of reflection also the mirror line. We have distinguished between an object and its image. This section explained to you what rotations are and how to perform a rotation. Now it is time to learn the next type of transformation. so follow the link and learn everything about Translations!
